The palette
Gold on a dark base is the brand. Yellow is the brighter alternative when gold goes muddy — print, screen-printed kit, low-quality video. Tap a swatch to copy the hex.
Two fonts, no exceptions
Everything is monospace. No sans-serif anywhere — it's what makes the brand read as a piece of kit rather than a lifestyle app. Both fonts are free on Google Fonts.
Keep it clean
The logo is pixel art. It only looks right when the pixels stay square — so scale it in whole steps where you can, and never let software smooth it.
- Leave clear space around the mark equal to the height of one letter.
- Use gold or yellow on dark, black or outlined on light.
- Keep the horizontal lockup above 120 px wide, the arrow above 24 px.
- Scale with nearest-neighbour so the pixel edges stay hard.
- Recolour it, add a gradient, shadow, glow, or outline of your own.
- Stretch, squash, rotate, or skew it.
- Put it on a busy photo without a solid panel behind it.
- Rebuild the wordmark by typing it in a font — use the file.
Not the same brand
Huston Archery is Patrick's coaching school. Level Up is the app. They share an owner and nothing else — don't mix the two marks in one lockup, and don't put Level Up gold on the Huston logo or the other way round.
- Use flo orange unless the background fights it.
- Take the transparent master and put your own background behind it.
- Leave clear space around the mark equal to the height of the "H".
- Keep it above 60 px — below that the arrow and bowstring disappear.
- Recolour it to a shade that isn't on this page.
- Separate the flag from the bow and arrow, or use either alone.
- Stretch, squash, rotate, or add effects.
- Pair it with the Level Up wordmark as if they were one brand.
Who can use these
Press, partners, clubs, coaches, and anyone writing about us: help yourself. You don't need to ask before running either logo alongside a mention of Level Up or Huston Archery.
What you can't do is use the marks in a way that suggests we made, endorsed, or sponsored something we didn't — including on merchandise, or as part of your own logo or product name. Both marks stay the property of Patrick Huston Ltd.
Not sure, or need a format that isn't here? Email support@levelup-archery.com and we'll sort it.
