Frequently asked questions

Who can create an account?

You must be at least 16 to create an account and use Level Up. If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian. That is the eligibility rule in our Terms of Service.

Your account is identified by an email address. We use that email for sign-in and account recovery. Keep your login details private, and tell us promptly if someone else uses your account.

How do I sign in?

Open Level Up and sign in with the email and password on your account, or with Google on the web. If you have forgotten your password, use the in-app reset on the sign-in screen. If that does not work, email support@levelup-archery.com from the address on the account.

The app is built to work offline. Your device holds the main copy of your data. Cloud backup is a backup, not the thing you need to open the app.

How do I get Level Up?

Level Up is available on the web at levelup-archery.com. You can use it in the browser, or add it to your home screen from there. The welcome page walks through first-time setup.

Native iPhone and Android apps exist for testers. A public App Store and Google Play listing is not live yet, so there is no public store page to link. When a public listing is live, we will say so here.

How do I join Play or App Store testing?

Native testing is invite-only. If you are in Patrick's tester programme, you will get an invite from Patrick or the tester programme. iPhone testers get a TestFlight invite. Android testers join through the Play internal-test link they were sent. There is no public store listing to tap.

On Android you must use the Google account you were invited with — the one on the tester list. A different Gmail signed into the Play Store on the same phone will fail, even if that phone also has your Level Up login. If you need adding on the Google account your phone actually uses, email support@levelup-archery.com.

Not a tester and want to be? Email support@levelup-archery.com and ask.

I tapped I'M IN and it looks dead

After I'M IN the next screen is a home-screen install prompt. It can look like a submit button that does nothing. Look for the faint Open in browser instead line under it — that skips the install gate and opens the app in the browser.

The gold chips on Home

SET UP PROFILE opens Profile. That is the chip for your details.

ADD YOUR BOW opens Equipment on classic Home. On New Home only the Profile chip is wired — if the chip still says ADD YOUR BOW, the tap does nothing. Add a bow from Kit instead.

A gear icon opened a paywall

Some gear icons on Home open a paid feature, so you may see a paywall. That is not Settings. Settings is on Home (lower on the screen). Appearance is inside Settings — it is not a Home tile.

“Let's shoot a 252”

The welcome line can say let's shoot a 252. That opens the session start screen — it does not preselect the 252 scheme. Pick 252 yourself on that screen.

“I can't keep my group centred”

If you have no bow set up, that coaching path stops on a kit-empty gate: you'll be asked to set up equipment first. Add a bow, then try again.

What are my data rights?

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and to withdraw consent. The full list is in the Privacy Policy.

In the app, go to Settings → Your Data to export your data, delete your account, or withdraw consent (including location, health data, and analytics).

After account deletion, cloud data is permanently removed within 30 days. Deleting the app from a device removes the local copy on that device. Privacy requests: privacy@levelup-archery.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

How do I delete my account?

Two ways, same outcome:

In the app: Settings → Your Data, then follow the deletion steps.

By email (no login, no app needed): send a message from the email address on your account to privacy@levelup-archery.com and ask us to delete the account. We delete cloud data within 30 days. Step-by-step: levelup-archery.com/delete.

How do subscriptions and cancel work?

How you are billed depends on where you subscribed: Apple App Store on iPhone, Google Play on Android, or Stripe on the website. Card details go to the store or to Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. Prices, tiers, the 3D Aiming Course, and the Wind Course are listed on Terms & Subscriptions.

You can cancel at any time. iPhone subscriptions cancel in your Apple ID settings, Android in Google Play subscriptions, and website subscriptions in the app or by emailing support@levelup-archery.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep paid features until then. After that, the account reverts to the Free tier. Your data stays.

We do not generally offer refunds on subscription payments. Unused time in a billing period is not refunded. If a technical issue blocked paid features for a long stretch, email support and we will look at it case by case.

One-time courses (3D Aiming and Wind) can be refunded within 14 days if you have not substantially accessed the course. After 14 days, or if the course has been substantially viewed, no refund. Store-billed refunds go through Apple or Google.

Who do I email?

A real person reads every message. Use the address that matches the problem.
